Latitude. -17.6166667°, Longitude. 177.0333333°
Navassa Island is about 2 square miles (5.2 km2).
It is found at a strategic location 90 nautical miles
(100 mi; 170 km) south of the U.S. naval base at
Guantanamo Bay, Cuba,
about one-quarter of the way from Haiti to Jamaica in the Jamaica Channel.
It reaches an elevation of 250 feet (76 m) at Dunning Hill 110 yards (100 m)
south of the lighthouse, Navassa Island Light.
This location is 440 yards (400 m) from the southwestern coast
or 655 yards (600 m) east of Lulu Bay.
The island's latitude and longitude is
18°24′10″N 75°0′45″W / 18.40278°N 75.0125°WCoordinates: 18°24′10″N 75°0′45″W / 18.40278°N 75.0125°W.
The terrain of Navassa Island consists mostly of exposed coral and limestone,
the island being ringed by vertical white cliffs 30 to 50 feet (9.1 to 15.2 m) high,
but with enough grassland to support goat herds.
The island is covered in a forest of just four tree species:
short-leaf fig (Ficus populnea var. brevifolia),
pigeon plum (Coccoloba diversifolia),
mastic (Sideroxylon foetidissimum)
& poisonwood (Metopium brownei).[3][4]
The Pitcairn Islands form the southeasternmost extension of the geological archipelago
of the Tuamotus of French Polynesia,
and consist of four islands: Pitcairn Island,
Oeno Island (atoll with five islets, one of which is Sandy Island),
Henderson Island and Ducie Island (atoll with four islets).
The only permanently inhabited island, Pitcairn, is accessible only by
boat through Bounty Bay.
Henderson Island,
covering about 86% of the territory's total land area
and supporting a rich variety of animals in its nearly inaccessible interior,
is also capable of supporting a small human population,
but access is difficult, owing to its outer shores'
being steep limestone cliffs made of sharp coral.
The Pitcairn Islands were formed by a centre of upwelling magma called the
Pitcairn hotspot.
The other islands are at a distance of more than 100 km (60 mi) and are not habitable.

Guaira Island...
Socotra is a small Yemeni archipelago of four islands and islets in the Indian Ocean off the coast of the Horn of Africa,
about 350 kilometers south of the Arabian peninsula.Socotra is one of the most isolated landforms on
Earth of continental origin.
The archipelago features narrow coastal plains,
a limestone plateau with caves,
and mountains which rise to
1,525 meters above sea level
Guaira Fall...
This waterfall,
known as Guaira,
is on the Parana River,
on the border between Paraguay and Brazil.
In Brazil,
the waterfall is known as Sete Quedas. Guaira is just,
ver three miles wide,
and only about 110 feet high.
But Guaira has the largest.
Iverage flow of any single waterfall on earth.
On the average,
about 212,000 cubic feet of water passes over Niagara Falls each second. The average flow of Guaira is 470,000 cubic feet per second.
And during seasons when the Parana River is high,
the flow over Guaira can reach 1.7 million cubic feet per second!
